NIHR Clinical Lectureships - Round 1131/03/2012
The 2011 NIHR Clinical Lectureship recruitment round is now open. NIHR Clinical Lectureships are specialty training posts that incorporate academic training.

NIHR Clinical Lectureships are aimed at those who are advanced in their specialty training, have completed a research doctorate or equivalent and show outstanding potential for continuing a career in academic medicine.  The duration of a Clinical Lectureship is for a maximum of 4 years or until CCT is reached, whichever is sooner.  Alongside clinical training, CLs will be able to further develop their academic skills and will be encouraged to apply for funding to support further postdoctoral or educationalist training.

Prospective applicants should note that they must contact the relevant Deanery in the first instance for further information on post availability and the recruitment process. Take up of posts will start from 1st April 2011.
Please note that successful applicants must be in post before 31st March 2012, therefore Deaneries need to allow enough time to advertise, shortlist, interview and where required, allow for notice periods to be given.
The closing date for applications is 31st March 2012.
