More than 100 people, including local residents, patients, health workers and school children, attended the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) 2012 Showcase Event at Hammersmith Hospital on 1 November. The event had over 20 interactive exhibits, which gave visitors first-hand experience of a range of exciting biomedical research being carried out by the NIHR Imperial BRC, while clinicians and academics were on hand to explain their studies.
