The winners of the NIHR’s new media competition were announced at the Annual Trainee Meeting, held in Leeds today. The competition was open to NIHR Researchers to produce short videos about their research that communicate the value of research enthuse the public about research.

The winner was Chronic Kidney Disease by Philip Shelton of CLAHRC Leicester, Northamptonshire and Rutland. Runners up were My Bugs and Me by the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Department at Imperial College London and Advanced Preclinical Testing of Joint Replacement Devices by the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering at the University of Leeds.
