Professor Martin Rossor
Professor Rossor is the NIHR National Director for Dementia Research. His office was established to help coordinate and deliver DHSC's research response to commitments under the Dementia Challenge and the G8 Dementia Summit. He is also an NIHR Senior Investigator.
Martin is Professor of Clinical Neurology at University College London, and Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery London. He has a particular interest in familial dementia and in cognitive impairment in systemic disease and multi-morbidity.
Martin was instrumental in the creation of Join Dementia Research, a place where patients and the public can register their interest in taking part in vital dementia research.
