Sine Littlewood is Interim Director of Business Development and Marketing at the NIHR Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre (CRNCC).
Sine Littlewood maintains strategic relationships with global and UK medical research charities and government agencies which fund clinical research. This includes facilitating discussions between funders and the Clinical Research Network (CRN), exploring potential collaborations and advising on how they can best use CRN services to support researchers. Sine heads up our Marketing team and leads on keeping theCRN abreast of new study delivery innovations to ensure it evolves to meet funder and investigator requirements. She also leads on cross-NIHR work on collaborating with medical research charities.
With a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from The Royal (Dick) School ofVeterinary Studies at Edinburgh University and a Masters in Business Administration, Sine worked in the NHS for 14 years in various management roles before joining the Clinical Research Network. As part of the CRN, her first role was the Assistant Director of the NIHR Stroke Research Network, leading the operational development and delivery of its national coordinating centre and eight regional networks for nine years. Following this, she managed national teams supporting a number of specialties for a year before becoming Head of Business Development (non-commercial) in April 2015, and taking up her current role in March 2020.
