NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre

The NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC) was established in April 2008 and is based at the University of Southampton.

We manage the identifying, prioritising, funding, delivery, publication and dissemination of high quality research and lead other National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) initiatives to meet the needs of the public, patients and the NHS and ensure that patients and the public have involvement in research.

The research that our programmes fund has a major impact: it is published in the world’s leading journals and it makes measurable differences to people’s lives and the quality of health services.
