Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Reporting Form - senior recruitment

The NIHR is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in research. By answering these Equality and Diversity Monitoring Information questions, you will help us to better understand the different groups of people that apply to senior NIHR roles such as Programme Directors and Chairs - particularly the groups protected by UK equality legislation.

Although it is mandatory to answer these questions, it is possible to select "prefer not to say" as a response. However, the more information you provide, the more effective our monitoring will be. This information will be held separately from application forms, and stored anonymously and securely. Those shortlisting and appointing will not see this information, and it will not be used to to make decisions about any application you make to NIHR.

Use of terminology in this form is informed by that used in the Equality Act 2010 , the 2011 Census and the 2021 Census.  The question set is also aligned with that used by other major UK research funders.
