We welcome applications from different clinical and non-clinical professional backgrounds.
Global Health Research Training Programme
If you are already an NIHR researcher in one of our Global Health Research programmes, you could apply for additional support. The Global Health Research Training Programme can further your training and academic career development.
A Global Health Research Academy Member is someone who is receiving funding from, or being supported by, an NIHR Global Health Research programme to develop their academic career.
As a Global Health Research Academy Member, you will be supported by your Global Health Research Training Lead. They will act as your point of contact and will develop a local training strategy. They will take an active role in providing advice and support for your academic development. This includes sharing examples of best practice and development opportunities. Their support ensures you will thrive as an academic and future leader.
There are currently more than 350 Academy Members working in global health. They are based in countries in Africa, Asia, Central and South America and the UK.
