Which research training programme is right for you?
We offer a range of research training awards for Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), pharmacists and healthcare scientists.
Your professional background, setting and how you wish to balance your academic career will determine which programme is best for you.
Most programmes are available from a Master's level to postdoctoral, but we also fund an Undergraduate Internship Programme.
Integrated Clinical and Practitioner Academic Programme
We offer a range of career development funding if you are looking to combine research with clinical practice. This funding will enable you to develop a clinical academic career:
- Predoctoral Clinical and Practitioner Academic Fellowship (PCAF)
- Doctoral Clinical and Practitioner Academic Fellowship (DCAF)

Development and Skills Enhancement Award
This postdoctoral-level award supports researchers to gain specific skills and experience. It lasts 12 months and will underpin the next phase of your career.
