Take part in our 1-hour webinar to learn about our Global Health Research (GHR) community capacity strengthening awards which are opening for applications soon.
We have two community awards:
- SPARC: Short Placement Award for Research Collaboration
- CADA: Cohort Academic Development Award
Through the GHR SPARC scheme, Global Health Research Academy Members could apply for up to £10,000 to design and undertake a short, bespoke placement. The placement will take place in other global health research programmes or a different part of the NIHR. Taking part in this scheme will enhance your research experience, networks, CV and academic career opportunities.
Through the GHR CADA scheme, NIHR Global Health Research Programme Training Lead or a Programme Director could apply for up to £30,000. This funding is to deliver additional training and career development activities for global health academy members. This scheme supports researchers on global health research programme cohorts primarily in LMICs. They will develop the skills they need to drive their academic research career.
During the webinar you will hear from Professor Dilly Anumba, the chair of the selection committee who will discuss what makes a successful application and what the selection committee looks for in applications.
