Who is the event aimed at? 

Whilst the event is somewhat focused towards Nurses, Midwives, and Allied Health Professionals, we do still want to encourage health and care professionals from outside these professions to feel welcomed - the event is relevant to all who wish to learn more about the scheme.

• An overview of the Associate PI Scheme, including how to register and what it entails.

• The importance of research and the impact it has on patients. 

• Insights from a variety of perspectives, including Alumni of the Associate PI Scheme, National Study Teams, NIHR Director of Nursing and Midwifery, NIHR Associate Director of Allied Health Professionals, and more.

• Information on other adjacent NIHR learning opportunities, such as the Principal Investigator Pipeline Programme (PIPP) for Research Nurses and Research Midwives.
