RCPCH Academic Trainees Day 2020

Date: 21 October 2020
Time: 09:30 to 16:30
Location: Online

Are you interested in child health research and want advice about how to get involved? Or do you already work in academic paediatrics and you want to hear from and meet like-minded individuals?

This year, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Heath (RCPCH) supported by NIHR are hosting a free, online, Academic Trainees Day.

You will hear from high profile speakers and network with others with similar interests. Through workshops, you will learn more about getting started in research, patient and public involvement in research and how to achieve a balance between commitments.

There will be a selection of online workshops to choose from including:

  • Getting started in research - Help for those who are interested or relatively new to paediatric research to get started
  • Achieving a balance - How to achieve a balance between clinical, research and personal commitments
  • PPIE in research - Guidance about how to involve and engage patients and the public in your research projects
  • COVID-19 and research - The importance of research during the COVID-19 pandemic
