The Department of Health and Social Care, and the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission are hosting two free webinars on 5 and 7 October 2021, aimed at increasing the number of successful funding applications in brain tumour research. The webinars are open to all researchers and clinicians who want to apply for brain tumour research funding.
Speakers are from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Medical Research Council (MRC), Cancer Research UK (CRUK), The Brain Tumour Charity (TBTC) and Brain Tumour Research (BTR).
Each speaker will cover the common elements of strong applications, explain possible pitfalls, and provide an overview of relevant funding opportunities from their organisations. Each webinar will conclude with a question and answer session; please note that the speakers are unable to give individual feedback on current or past applications.
