Webinar: An introduction to the NIHR Pre-Application Support Fund

The Pre-Application Support Fund provides extra support to those who need it to enhance their chances of making a successful application to an NIHR career development scheme in the future.  In particular, the scheme aims to make a positive impact on groups and professions identified as underrepresented within NIHR

This one hour webinar will give an overview of the Pre-Application Support Fund and share insights that can help you develop a competitive application. 

Other areas covered are:

• The scheme's aims and the application process
• Insights on what the selection committee are looking for in applications including some top tips.
• A greater understanding of the Pre-Application Support Fund 

You will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the presenters at the end for their live response.

The webinar will be facilitated by Chris Doble, Senior Programme Manager, NIHR Academy, who will be joined by Professor Annie Topping - Committee Chair for the Pre-Application Support Fund, Dr Sheraz Markar - Deputy Chair for the Pre-Application Support Fund, Karen Fernando, Assistant Director, NIHR Academy and Tanya Probart, Programme Manager, NIHR Academy.
