Workshop: Developing trust and managing conflict within a hybrid team

Date

01 February 2022

Time

13:30 to 16:30

Location

Online

Excellence in research requires effective collaboration and when working with a diverse group, we often face challenges in managing individual needs and priorities to achieve our collective outcomes. Remote and virtual working adds a new level of complexity to this challenge.

Join our 3-hour interactive virtual workshop to take part in discussions and breakout sessions to explore how you  can create deeper levels of trust remotely and manage conflict productively to collaborate effectively.

In this session you will:

  • Explore a cohesive collaboration framework – focusing on trust and healthy conflict
  • Consider how you  build trust within remote and hybrid groups to maintain focus on the collective objectives
  • Identify how we are motivated and how that can help you to communicate more effectively

By the end of the session, you will have developed a personal action plan to address your current collaboration challenges and help you to develop trust and manage conflict more effectively.

To indicate your interest in attending this virtual workshop, please submit an expression of interest form by 12 midday on Tuesday 24 January. If selected, selected you will receive confirmation of your place by close of business on Thursday 27 January.

Please note that places are limited to 16 participants per event. As we expect a high level of demand, places will be allocated to ensure a fair representation across the NIHR leaders community and prioritising those who have not participated in the programme previously.

Please save the date in your diary. As we expect a high level of demand, if you have confirmed attendance, and find that you are unable to attend, please give us as much notice as possible so that we can invite others on our waiting list.
