Register to join the NIHR Reviewer Development Scheme

The NIHR Reviewer Development Scheme offers NIHR trainees the opportunity to gain experience of expert review for NIHR funding programmes and influence research commissioning. This scheme is for NIHR Research and Infrastructure trainee award-holders who:

  • hold a current NIHR research or infrastructure trainee award or fellowship
  • are in their final year at doctoral level or are post-doctoral with less than five years post-doctoral experience
  • are below consultant level
  • are not already experienced reviewers or chief investigators with a strong publication track record
