Please note that the Word version of the stage 1 application form is to be used as a guide and to assist with completion of the online application form only, for example to see how many characters are accepted in each section and how the printed complete form is laid out. Please do not try to use this as an application form, you must apply using the online form available through the links available when calls are open. You should also refer to the application form guidance notes.
The Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation (EME) Programme is accepting straight to Stage 2 applications to their commissioned workstream.
In order to apply you will need to carefully review the:
- Commissioning brief
- Guidance notes
- EME application supporting information - please note that this supporting information is provided for all EME calls. For this call, any specific guidance in the linked commissioning brief and guidance notes takes precedence.
All proposals submitted must fall within the remit/scope of the EME Programme and further information on this can be found on the EME Programme webpage as linked on the right, and by clicking on ‘What we fund’.
For further details on aspects such as eligibility, collaboration and team expertise, timescales and funding limits as well as other guidance on applying please review the ‘EME application supporting information’ document linked on the right, alongside the Stage 2 guidance notes.
All primary research projects are expected to establish a programme appointed Study Steering Committee and it is important that you read the TSC/SSC Guidance before completing your application. Costs incurred by this committee should be included in the budget as appropriate.
