NIHR has opened a call to fund novel interdisciplinary collaborations to support eating disorders research and increase capacity in the field. 

The call is co-funded with UK Research and Innovation and the Medical Research Foundation.

Proposals are welcomed from a wide range of disciplines, including:

  • medical
  • biological
  • social sciences
  • behavioural sciences
  • arts and humanities

A clear commitment to involving people with lived experience of eating disorders is expected. This should be demonstrated through the development and implementation of the proposed collaborations.

Applicants must be based at a UK research organisation to be eligible. 

Applications must be made through the UKRI website.
