NIHR Clinical Research Facilities
The NIHR has launched a new, open competition to designate and fund NIHR Clinical Research Facilities (CRFs) in England.
NIHR CRFs support the delivery of early translational and experimental medicine research studies, including early-phase clinical trials. They provide dedicated purpose-built facilities in the NHS specifically for the delivery of high-intensity research that requires dedicated space, facilities and specialist expertise.
NIHR CRFs are a key part of the UK’s leading early-stage clinical research infrastructure and play an important role in making the country a global hub for life sciences and delivery of the government’s Life Sciences Industrial Strategy. They will also play a key role in realising the ambitions set out in the vision for the future of UK clinical research delivery.
NHS organisations in England are eligible to apply. Please refer to the application guidance for more information.
Applications must be submitted through the Research Management System (RMS). The online application and finance forms will open via the RMS on 23 June 2021.
The closing date for electronic submission of applications is 29 September 2021 at 13:00.
Any enquiries should be sent to email@example.com.
An applicant workshop will be held on 30 June 2021, 9:00-11:00. Please register your interest by completing the Webinar Registration Form (maximum of two representatives per applying organisation), and submit any questions to be addressed at the workshop by 18 June 2021, 13:00 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
