NIHR e-Learning for Clinicians Programme: Competition to develop e-learning resources
Contact
The NIHR e-Learning for Clinicians competition can award up to £120,000 per Royal College or standard setting body to develop bespoke online learning resources specifically targeted to develop research capacity in their professional communities.
It is expected the e-learning resources will:
- contribute to research methods
- aid in the development of a new community of local clinical research champions, local principal investigators and networked clinical researchers
- support research to improve patient care where it is most needed
The resources should be hosted on NIHR Learn, which is a Learning Management System managed by NIHR and accessible to all clinical professionals working in the NHS and UK based researchers.
Eligibility criteria
This competition is open to any Royal College or relevant standard setting body supporting clinical professionals in England.
Organisations are expected to work with a suitable partner with experience of developing e-learning content. The resources should go live between January and May 2022.
Joint applications between two or more organisations are encouraged given the likely overlap of training needs between various different professions.
