The NIHR is pleased to launch a sixth Research and Innovation for Global Health Transformation (RIGHT) call that will support targeted research to prevent, treat and manage multiple long-term conditions in low and middle income countries.
The NIHR is seeking applications to RIGHT call 6 for programmes of applied health research that focus on the development and evaluation of interventions and strategies for improved management of multiple long-term conditions.
This funding opportunity is open to lead applicants from UK or LMIC institutions. Please refer to the Guidance for Applicants for further details about applicant eligibility and other documents in the Supporting Information sidebar for full details about this funding call.
RIGHT typically awards funding of £1-5 million (maximum of £5 million) for research projects with a duration of 3-5 years.
Applicants should submit their RIGHT Call 6 Stage 1 application via the Research Management System (RMS). The call will close at 13:00 UK time on Wednesday 14 December 2022.

NIHR will not accept the same or substantially similar applications across multiple NIHR Global Health Research calls. NIHR will accept applications from the same or similar teams across more than one NIHR Global Health Research call where the aims and research proposals are substantially different. Read more in our guidance on multiple applications to Global Health Research programmes.
