The Research for Patient Benefit Programme is accepting Expression of Interest (EOI) applications to the following call: Emergency Response and Preparedness.

Research proposals are invited that will provide health and health services related learning from recent emergencies and Mass Casualty Incidents and will provide evidence to inform policy and practice in the short to medium term. Applicants must therefore demonstrate a clear pathway to influence and impact for their proposed research.

Applications received by 23 October 2019 will be considered by a committee and successful applicants will be invited to complete a full Stage 2 application. Applicants will have 6 weeks to complete their full Stage 2 application.

Please note: Programmes participating in this call are HS&DR, PHR, RfPB, PDG and PGfAR. Whilst this call is open, potential applicants should apply to the specific Emergency Response/Emergency Preparedness call for the programmes listed rather than using the concurrent researcher-led/response mode calls.
