About the role

We are looking for high calibre candidates with a passion for health research management to join our national and global health programmes.

You should have a background in health research management and/or experience of working in an NHS, social care, public health, low-resource global health settings or for a patient-centred organisation/charity. You should also have a genuine desire to make a difference to patients and the public. 

As a Research Manager, you will manage a portfolio of work to support our research programmes, working with clinicians, researchers and patients. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive and professional working relationships at all levels. You will prioritise your workload and lead on improvements to working practices. You must be able to understand, rationalise and communicate complex problems/issues, taking or recommending appropriate action. You should have excellent writing, analytical and critical appraisal skills and be able to understand and interpret complex medical and scientific literature. 

The posts are based in Southampton, although occasional travel to other locations across the UK may be required and will be fully reimbursed.
