What's Happening in Children's Research in North Thames
Last year the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN) North Thames supported 116 studies and recruited 3094 patients to children studies. This is a fantastic result for children's research in North Thames, and highlights our position as a leading provider of children's research in the country.
In order to keep the momentum going we are hosting a key event on 9 November, asking all interested, to come and network, share results from the year so far, and learn more about children's research within the network.
The event will be held Friday 9 November 2018 in the Board Room, 3rd Floor at 170 Tottenham Court Road London W1T 7HA.

Feedback from Children’s Research Team Building Event
On 3 September 2018, the Children's research team held a local event for children's research nurses. Here is some feedback on the event from Tara Murray, Senior Paediatric Research Nurse
"Before the event, I was expecting this to be an opportunity to meet other nurses within the NT CRN and to discuss ways that we can work together to improve the profile of children’s research in our area. This was a very enjoyable day, which met my expectations and also offered opportunities to share success stories and work together to overcome challenges. One of the most engaging aspects of the event was coming up with ideas together for increasing PPI activity. And it was interesting, learning about the further functions of edge and also ODP."
