Date: 04 April 2018

Healthcare trainees in the Thames Valley and South Midlands are invited to join a scheme to learn about NHS research and help recruit to studies.

The Research Fellow Scheme 2018-19, which is run by the NIHR Clinical Research Network Thames Valley and South Midlands (LCRN), is now open to applications.

The scheme will allow trainees in healthcare settings to lead on clinical research projects and give them a full insight into the research process.

It is open to applications from NHS trusts and GP Practices in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire.

Successful applicants will receive funding of up to £40,000 per annum to conduct research from the LCRN and their host trust.

The scheme begins in Autumn 2018 and will last one year. Applications close on 22 April 2018.
