IBD Patient Involvement in Research Day - 7 September 2019

IBD Patient Involvement in Research Day - 7 September 2019

CRN Gastroenterology Specialty in partnership with Crohn's and Colitis UK are hosting the second Patient Involvement in Research Day on Saturday 7 September 2019. It's being held in Manchester and it's a fantastic opportunity for anyone with Crohn's or Colitis aged 18 or over, to take part in research!

Research studies should incorporate the views of patients to ensure they are patient-centred and acceptable to patients. The Patient Research Day aims to provide basic information on IBD and to update patients on existing research. Patients will also be able to shape current and future clinical trials. This is valuable to IBD patients and researchers alike to:

  • improve trial design
  • as a mechanism by which to keep patients informed of on-going studies
  • ways in which they can get involved in future research

This FREE event will feature innovative and exciting new research and is the perfect opportunity for you to have your say, meet leading IBD researchers and to have a real impact on pioneering research - all in the very heart of Manchester at Chetham's School of Music
