In yesterday's Spending Review announcement, the Chancellor of the Exchequer reaffirmed the UK government's enduring commitment to health research.
We welcome the £1.3 billion investment to continue the 'world-leading' work of the NIHR and Genomics England, and research into better patient outcomes, including on Covid-19, as well as supporting the wider UK life sciences sector.
