Professor Nick Lemoine
NIHR Research Delivery Network Co-ordinating Centre Senior Leader
Professor Nick Lemoine is Strategic Development Director at the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN) Coordinating Centre.
Nick joined the RDN Executive Team in May 2014. He leads plans to support the delivery of high quality research studies by a well trained workforce. He directs the Specialty Cluster Leads and National Specialty and Settings Leads to achieve this.
His senior team scope the implications of emerging technologies and innovations for the network, exploiting the wealth of intelligence and experience in the Alliance Partnership universities: Leeds, Liverpool, Imperial College London and King’s College London.
Nick is also Director of the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London, and Director of Research & Development for Cancer at Barts Health NHS Trust, the largest NHS trust in the country.
Among other commitments, he is:
- Chair of Trustees of the Medical Research Foundation, the MRC’s independent charity
- Chair of the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases
- Chair of the NIHR i4i Challenge Awards committee
