Professor Jo Wilmshurst	Head of Paediatric Neurology	Red Cross Children's Memorial Hospital, University of Cape Town, South Africa	Professor Wilmshurst is a member of the executive board of the Paediatric Neurology and Development Association of Southern Africa (PANDA-SA) and the African Child Neurology Association (ACNA), as well as President of the International Child Neurology Association. She is a member of the Commission on Pediatrics for the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE), serving on various Task Forces related to advocacy research, neuropsychiatry, education and neonatal guidelines update. She is also Education officer for the Commission on African Affairs. She is director of the African Paediatric Fellowship Program - a training program under the auspices of the University of Cape which aims at developing skills in paediatric disciplines of doctors from across Africa.

Professor Mary Amuyunzu-Nyamongo	Founding Director; Technical Consultant	African Institute for Health and Development, Kenya	Professor Amuyunzu-Nyamongo is the Founding Director and Technical Adviser to the African Institute for Health and Development (AIHD), based in Nairobi, Kenya. She provides consultancy services for institutions such as the World Bank, World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations, and the Government of Kenya.
Professor Marcello André Barcinski	Emeritus Professor	Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil	Professor Barcinski is an MD and PhD with post-medical and post-doctoral training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY, and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, US. His areas of expertise include Immunology, Research Administration and Parasitology.
Professor John Bartlett	Co-Director for the Centre for AIDS Research; Professor of Medicine and Global Health	Duke Global Health Institute, USA	Professor Bartlett holds a position at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (Tanzania). He is the Associate Director for Research of the Duke Global Health Institute, Co-Director of the Duke University Center for AIDS Research, a Senior Fellow within the Duke University Health Inequalities Program, and co-chairs the Duke University Africa Initiative.
Professor Prabha Chandra	Head of Psychiatry	The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India	Dr Chandra is a Professor and Head of Psychiatry at NIMHANS. Her main areas of interest are Women's Mental Health, Perinatal Psychiatry, teaching methods, ethics and palliative care. She has started the first dedicated psychiatry service including a Mother Baby unit in South Asia for mothers with severe mental illness.
Professor Anthony Costello	Professor of Global Health and Sustainable Development; Paediatrician	University College London, UK	Professor Costello’s areas of scientific expertise include the evaluation of cost-effective interventions to reduce maternal and newborn deaths, women’s groups, strategies to tackle malnutrition, international aid and the health effects of climate change. He has extensive experience in running clinical trials in Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Malawi, including large community trials of participatory learning and action using women’s groups.
Professor Luis Cuevas	Head of Tropical Clinical Trials Unit	Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK	Professor Cuevas trained in Paediatrics, Epidemiology and Tropical Medicine. He has collaborations and studies in a number of countries; currently including Nigeria, Ethiopia, Brazil, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. He holds an appointment as Visiting Professor at the University of Sergipe, Brazil and is interim Head of the Department of Clinical Sciences.
Professor Oye Gureje	Professor of Psychiatry and Director WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Mental Health, Neurosciences and Substance Abuse	University of Ibadan, Nigeria	Professor Gureje is a Professor of Psychiatry and Director at the University of Ibadan with over two decades of leadership roles in global mental health research. He has a key role in mental health policy development in Nigeria as the Chair of the Federal Ministry of Health’s Mental Health Action Committee.
Professor Catherine Harmer	Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience; Research Fellow	University of Oxford, UK	Professor Harmer is the director of the Psychopharmacology and Emotional Research Lab (PERL) based at the University Department of Psychiatry in Oxford. She has been elected positions on ECNP executive Committee (2016- ), BAP council (2007-2014), Wellcome Trust Expert Review Group (mental health and neuroscience), and an Editorial board member of Biological Psychiatry.
Professor Simon Heller	Professor of Clinical Diabetes	University of Sheffield, UK	Professor Heller is Professor of Clinical Diabetes at the University of Sheffield, Director of Research and Development and Honorary Consultant Physician at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust.
Professor Li Yang Hsu	Head of Infectious Diseases Programmes	NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, Singapore	Professor Hsu is the Head of Infectious Diseases Programme at NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Senior Consultant and Head at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He has also served as a technical advisor on surveillance of antimicrobial resistance to the western pacific regional office of the WHO.
Professor Joe (Joseph) Jarvis	NIHR Global Health Research Professor	London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK/Botswana Harvard AIDS Institute Partnership, Botswana	Professor Jarvis is an NIHR Global Health Research Professor, currently based full time in Gaborone, Botswana. In addition to his research work, he is active as an infectious diseases consultant in Botswana and at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in London.
Professor Saidi Kapiga	Professor of Epidemiology and International Health	London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK/Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit, Tanzania	Professor Kapiga is the current Scientific Director of the Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit (MITU). He is also a co-investigator in NIH-funded studies conducted in Mwanza city, including a clinical trial to assess the impact of a social-worker intervention on reducing post-hospital mortality among HIV patient; and observational studies to determine the incidence and determinants of hypertension among HIV-infected and uninfected adults, and the incidence of pre-hypertention in a cohort of secondary school students.
Professor Kath (Kathryn) Maitland	Professor of Tropical Paediatric Infectious Diseases	Imperial College London, UK	Professor Maitland is a professor of Paediatric Tropical Infectious Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine and Director of the ICCARE Centre at the Institute for Global Health Innovation, Imperial College, London and an Honorary Fellow at MRC Clinical Trials Unit, University College, London.
Professor David Bruce Matchar	Director of the Center for Clinical Health Policy Research; Professor of Medicine	Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore	Professor Matchar, MD, is the Inaugural Director of the Programme in Health Services and Systems Research (HSSR) (2008-2018). He is also Professor of Medicine at Duke University in the United States.
Professor Sassy (Catherine) Molyneux	Professor of Global Health, Social and Behaviour Research	University of Oxford, UK/Kenya Medical Research Institute-Wellcome Trust Research Programme, Kenya	Professor Molyneux is an Associate Professor employed by Oxford University, UK, based at the Kenya Medical Research Institute-Wellcome Trust Research Programme in Kilifi, Kenya. She is a behavioural scientist, with a background in human geography.
Professor Elias Mossialos	Brian Abel-Smith Professor of Health Policy	London School of Economics and Political Science	Elias Mossialos is Brian Abel-Smith Professor of Health Policy, Head of Department of Health Policy and Director of LSE Health. Professor Mossialos founded LSE Health in 1996.
Professor Noeline Nakasujja	Chair of the Department of Psychiatry; Associate Professor	Makerere University, Uganda	Professor Nakasujja is an Associate Professor and is the Chair for the Department of Psychiatry where she serves as a Senior Lecturer at the College of Health Sciences, Makerere University. Her research interests include geriatric psychiatry and cognitive impairment in HIV/AIDS. She is a research lead for the DIALOG+intervention at the NIHR Global Health Research Group on developing psycho-social interventions
Dr Rahul Shidhaye	Research Scientist; Adjunct Assitant Professor	Public Health Foundation of India	Dr Rahul Shidhaye is a Clinical Psychiatrist, having a keen interest in the field of public mental health and implementation science. His research work is mainly in the areas of social determinants of mental health, integration of mental health in primary care and mental health systems strengthening.
Professor Janaka de Silva	Professor of Medicine	University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka	Janaka de Silva is Professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, and Consultant Physician, Colombo North Teaching Hospital. He is currently also Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, and Chairman of the National Research Council of Sri Lanka. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians London, Ceylon College of Physicians, and National Academy of Sciences of Sri Lanka, and Honorary Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians of Thailand and College of General Practioners of Sri Lanka.
Professor Rainford Wilks	Emeritus Professor	University of West Indies, Jamaica	Professor Wilks is a Professor of Epidemiology, an Epidemiologist, and a Consultant Physician in the Caribbean Institute for Health Research (CAIHR), the Department of Medicine of the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI). He is also Director of the UWI Clinical Epidemiology Unit (CEU) of the CanUSACLEN branch of the International Clinical Epidemiology Unit (INCLEN).
