We support and deliver research in the following areas:

  • linking genetic research and personalised medicine with common skin diseases such as acne, drug reactions, eczema, and psoriasis
  • skin cancers including melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma
  • supporting innovative ways to deliver trials such as platform studies and patient driven research
  • supporting research that uses AI in all aspects of basic, translational, clinical research and service delivery
  • skin infections such as herpes simplex, fungal infections, impetigo and cellulitis
  • children’s skin disorders where genetics often plays a major role
  • rare skin diseases
