We support and deliver studies into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infections in all age groups and all levels of care.

Our research areas include studies of:

  • the development and treatment of acute and chronic infectious diseases
  • the prevention, treatment and control of hospital-acquired infections
  • using vaccines to prevent infections, particularly acute infectious diseases
  • the development of new diagnostic tests and in microbiology
