Summary
We support and oversee research studies that encompass an extensive range of conditions which require prompt diagnosis and treatment if the patients are to have the best outcome. We support and promote research in the following areas:
- pre-hospital care
- emergency medicine and care
- acute medicine and care
- major trauma
- trauma orthopaedics
- burns
Our research includes trials across multiple centres. We offer guidance on successful research in acute and trauma care settings, covering everything from prehospital care to rehabilitation.
