The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Academy Executive are embarking on a period of exciting growth and this is one of two business intelligence roles, based in the Evaluation and Impact team. 

This is an exciting time to be joining us as you will provide technical support and assist in the development and maintenance of BI solutions for the NIHR Academy Executive support. Working with the Business Intelligence Manager, you will have responsibility for creation and maintenance of business intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards using available tools, in accordance with requirements gathered from both technical and non-technical end users.

You will have a degree in a science, mathematics, statistics or computing discipline or equivalent with experience of information analysis using advanced knowledge of statistics, database design and BI systems tools. You will understand basic concepts of BI Architecture such as Extract, Transform and Load (ETL), Data Warehousing and Data Modelling.

The NIHR Academy plays a pivotal role in attracting, training and supporting the best researchers and complements the additional NIHR investment in world-class research facilities and a skilled research workforce.

The NIHR Academy Executive is hosted by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT) and delivers the work of the NIHR Academy, leading on policy, strategy and delivery in respect of academic training in England and working closely with other NIHR centres and the Science Research and Evidence (SRE) Directorate at the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
