Expert in health economics (Public health) (Ref - PHRFC/21/02)

The Public Health Research (PHR) Programme is seeking to appoint members to the Funding Committee.

This opportunity is for UK-based experts in health economics (ideally with experience in economic evaluation) of public health interventions. We encourage applications from all four countries of the UK.

The PHR Programme funds approximately £17m of UK-based public health research every year. It is keen to fund research that is of importance and relevance to public health practice.

The Funding Committee’s role is to advise the Programme Director on the scientific quality, feasibility and value for money aspects of proposals submitted to the programme.

The term of office is four years starting from February 2022. Travel and expenses will be paid. The committee meets three times a year and these meetings are currently being held virtually using Microsoft Teams.
