Expert in mental health (Public health) (Ref - PHRFC/21/01
The Public Health Research (PHR) programme is seeking to appoint members to the Funding Committee.
This opportunity is for UK based experts in mental health (adult and child) research in relation to public health interventions. We encourage applications from all four countries of the UK.
The PHR programme funds approximately £17m of UK based Public Health research every year. It is keen to fund research that is of importance and relevance to Public Health practice.
The Funding Committee’s role is to advise the Programme Director on the scientific quality, feasibility and value for money aspects of proposals submitted to the programme.
The term of office is 4 years starting from October 2021 (or June 2021 if possible). Travel and expenses will be paid. The committee meets three times a year and these meetings are currently being held virtually using Microsoft Teams.
