Workshop: Agile working and staying flexible

    This event has happened

Overview

Being in control and overplanning can feel safe, but these traits can easily become silent killers to success by hampering innovation and blocking new opportunities. In today’s VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) world, leaders need to step back and look at the bigger picture. A picture that contains constant and inevitable change. We want to feel safe, but we don’t want to get stuck - plan to F.L.E.X. instead.

What will be covered?

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Learn about the paradox of agile thinking and how this impacts leader’s day to day.
  • Explore what enables leaders to flourish and be their best selves at work.
  • Discover the surprising benefits that uncertainty can bring and how to be comfortable with discomfort.
  • Consider the importance of being ready for, and seeking out, change and new opportunities.
  • Recognise the implications of ‘group think’ on agile working and ways we can extend our inner circle.
