Alice Williams
Alice Williams is a member of the NIHR Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) Group and Head of Patient and Public Involvement (Innovation, Research and Life Sciences) at NHS England and Improvement.
She has spent over 20 years working with people and communities to achieve better services, designed around the voices and experiences of the people who use them. Her current work focuses on strengthening patient and public engagement to inform NHS decision making including patient led quality assurance programmes, national innovation and improvement initiatives and strategic co-production approaches.
Together with Nick Meade she is leading on engagement activities with patients and the public related to ATMP research. The work they are undertaking aims to enable members of the public and patients to become more aware of, and involved in, ATMP studies.
