Workshop: Discovering your "why" in uncertain times

Date

16 March 2022

Time

13:00 to 14:30

Location

Online

Put simply purpose at work  is “why” you do what you do and can be described as the desire to do things in service of something larger than ourselves.  People intrinsically want to do things that matter and as most of us spend more than half our lives at work, we want that time to matter.  When working through volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity then we can often lose sight of our why.

Join our 90 min interactive virtual workshop to take part in discussions and breakout sessions to explore:

  • The benefits of identifying and working with purpose.
  • Introduction to a holistic tool to help you discover your purpose.
  • Share a useful check in approach to see how well you are aligning your work to your purpose in uncertain times.

To indicate your interest in attending this virtual workshop, please submit an expression of interest form by 12 midday on Wednesday 9 March. If selected, selected you will receive confirmation of your place by close of business on Thursday 10 March.

Please note that places are limited to 16 participants per event. As we expect a high level of demand, places will be allocated to ensure a fair representation across the NIHR leaders community and prioritising those who have not participated in the programme previously.

Please save the date in your diary. As we expect a high level of demand, if you have confirmed attendance, and find that you are unable to attend, please give us as much notice as possible so that we can invite others on our waiting list.
