Our Evidence Synthesis Programme is accepting Stage 2 applications to this new funding opportunity.

There are currently 9 Evidence Synthesis Groups (ESGs) providing evidence synthesis for key stakeholders across all 4 UK nations, including the UK NSC. These collaborations have identified a need for increased evidence synthesis provision to support the UK NSC decision making process.

We are therefore commissioning additional evidence synthesis groups to provide dedicated support to the UK NSC.

Expected timescale

This opportunity will close at 1pm on July 2024.

Applications to this scheme will be assessed for remit and competitiveness in the first instance. All in remit and competitive applications will be externally peer reviewed with applications subsequently shortlisted for interview by a sub-committee of the Funding Committee, including the Committee Chair and the Director of the Evidence Synthesis (ES) Programme.

Shortlisted applicant teams will be invited to interview. The interview will include a short (5-minute) presentation from candidates.

We anticipate interviews taking place during October/November 2024
