Our Evidence Synthesis Programme is accepting Stage 2 applications to this new funding opportunity.

A living approach to evidence synthesis regularly incorporates new research evidence to provide access to up-to-date syntheses of research evidence at the time decision makers need them. This is particularly important in areas where new research is emerging rapidly, current evidence is uncertain and new research might change policy or practice.

We are therefore inviting applications to establish a new specialised research group to carry out living evidence syntheses addressing UK priority topics in health, public health and social care.

In order to apply via our online research system please carefully review the following documents:

Expected timescale

This opportunity will close at 1pm on 2 July 2024.

Applications to this scheme will be assessed for remit and competitiveness in the first instance. All in remit and competitive applications will be externally peer reviewed with applications subsequently shortlisted for interview by a sub-committee of the Funding Committee including the Committee Chair and the Director of the Evidence Synthesis (ES) Programme.

Shortlisted applicant teams will be invited to interview. The interview will include a short (5-minute) presentation from candidates.

We anticipate interviews taking place during October/November 2024
