Matthew Beasley
Matthew Beasley represents early career researchers on the NIHR Strategy and Engagement Board. He is currently an NIHR/Health Education England Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow and a part-time PhD student at the University of Leeds. He is also a Cancer Research UK RadNet advanced practitioner therapeutic radiographer at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Previously, Matthew was an NIHR/Health Education England Bridging Scheme Fellow.
Matthew’s research focuses on using mixed methods to investigate patient experience with image-guided radiotherapy. He is particularly interested in utilising MRI technology, novel contrast agents, and motion management techniques to enhance stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy for the treatment of cancers of the liver.
