Quinton Newell
Quinton Newell is Director of Strategic Operations at the NIHR Coordinating Centre.
Quinton is responsible for strategic development of cross-cutting teams to enable an efficient, standardised and robust award funding process. This involves management of the:
- NIHR Assurance Unit
- Finance team
- Operations team
- Governance team
- Research Management Training
- Information Services team.
Before joining the NIHR in 2014, Quinton worked for more than 14 years at Cancer Research UK, where he was responsible for the administration of the charity’s applications and award process, grants, funding policy and procedures and IT systems.
