The NIHR Clinical Research Network (NIHR CRN) supports a range of awards to recognise and reward the inspirational work that is taking place across the NHS, public health and social care to make clinical research a core activity.
The NIHR CRN jointly hosts these awards with a range of institutions such as the Royal Colleges, charities and journals. Open awards are displayed below.

The NIHR and the British Association of Dermatologists Awards 2021 take the form of a travel bursary, course or conference of up to £200. Applicants should be working in a recognised clinical or non-clinical training environment.

The Royal College of Anaesthetists is pleased to resume three awards in conjunction with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN). The awards are designed to recognise NHS clinicians (consultants and anaesthetists in training) who are making outstanding contributions to clinical research, particularly in relation to NIHR CRN portfolio research studies. These awards will open for applications on 19th July and close on 30th September 2021.

The Royal College of Radiologists and NIHR Outstanding Clinical Radiology Researcher Awards 2021 are now open for applications. The awards recognise the contribution that clinical radiologists make to radiology research in the NHS, specifically research active NHS trainees and consultants that are demonstrating excellence and innovation in delivering NIHR research. The closing date is 4 October 2021.
